“And thou (the invading armies of the War of Gog and Magog – Russia, Iran, Turkey, et.al.) shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages (Israel); and I will go to them that are at REST (capitals mine), that dwell SAFELY (capitals mine), all of them dwelling WITHOUT WALLS (capitals mine), and having neither bars nor gates. To take a spoil, and to take prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people THAT ARE NOW GATHERED OUT OF THE NATIONS (capitals mine), which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.”

Ezekiel 38:11-12

If you carefully read Ezekiel 36 & 37 you will see God, through Ezekiel, gave a prophecy which clearly states the day will come when the Jews will be returned to their God-given homeland of Israel after enduring His Wrath for many years due to their past rebellion against Him. God will decide their punishment has been paid for in their anguish and suffering and He will return them to the land of Israel He promised their father Abraham.

“For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all the countries, AND WILL BRING YOU INTO YOUR OWN LAND (capitals mine).”

Ezekiel 36:24

Because of their iniquities, God said He would disperse them throughout the world but also said He would one day bring them back to their land. Remember the Book of Ezekiel was written over 2,600 years ago. Their return officially happened on May 14, 1948, with the blessing and agreement of the United Nations, when Israel proclaimed their national independence. As I have mentioned before, I have a book in my collection of books on prophecy called 40 Future Wonders of Scripture Prophecy, published in 1866. In the book they miraculously quote of the many prophecies we hear about today but regarding the return of the Jews to Israel, they are adamant! They literally said in the 1,800 years since the Romans dispersed the Jews all over the world in 135 A.D., there was NO WAY the Jews could ever return to the land of Israel and become a nation again.

But God said He would and He did!

After bringing the Jews back in Ezekiel 36 & 37 God also told Ezekiel to say:

“And thou (countries who will attack Israel) shalt say, I will go up to the land of UNWALLED VILLAGES; I WILL GO TO THEM THAT ARE AT REST, THAT DWELL SAFELY, ALL OF THEM DWELLING WITHOUT WALLS, AND HAVING NEITHER BARS NOR GATES (capitals mine).”

Ezekiel 38: 11

Since their founding, the nation of Israel has NEVER had unwalled villages where they are at rest and dwelling safely! Since their founding they have been in continuous wars with the nations/peoples who surround them. The 1948 War of Independence was against the Palestinians, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Iraq, Egypt, Yemen and Jordan. The 1967 Six Day War was primarily against their neighbors Egypt, Syria and Jordan. The 1973 Yom Kippur War  was again against Egypt and Syria. For decades they have fought Hamas, Hezbollah, the PLO, the Houthis, etc., all proxies of Iran who have vowed to wipe the nation of Israel off the map. Because these nations/peoples surround Israel many feel these blatant attack against Israel are symbolic of the prophesied war of Psalm 83 (The War of Psalm 83).

“They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in rememberance.”

Psalm 83:4

However, the war of Gog and Magog (The War of Gog and Magog) referenced above are countries NOT on Israel’s borders who will attack when Israel is living safely in unwalled villages has never happened! One, the attacking countries are Russia, Turkey, Iran, Libya, Sudan, Ethiopia, et.al. Two, they have never colluded to finally erase the Jews from Israel. Three, in attacking Israel they have never been so thoroughly defeated as they will be. And finally, and most importantly, a sign of the times must be when Israel is living safely in unwalled villages. That has never occurred. Let me give you a possible scenario as to what will happen to see this prophecy come to pass in the near future.

Over the last year, Israel has been attacked relentlessly by Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthi’s, the PLA in Jordan and West Bank, and even Iran. But with the backing of God they have decimated Hamas and their leadership in the Gaza strip. They have with great precision taken out the leadership of Hezbollah and destroyed much of their ballistic armaments and finances in Lebanon. And, they have successfully returned fire on the Houthi’s in Yemen taking out much of their ballistic arms. And they have strategically returned missiles at Iran to prove they have the capabilities to do to Iran what they have done to their other enemies.

As I recently wrote about (Will Israel destroy Iran’s nuclear capabilities? Absolutely!) and which worldwide news has reported on, it is just a matter of hours, days or weeks before Israel will destroy Iran’s nuclear facilities and possibly their oil refineries. If this happens, Iran will no longer be able to financially support their proxies or their own ambitions to eliminate the Jews.

But it goes deeper than that.

If President Trump is re-elected, he will bring the Abraham Accords back into play and will finally get Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, etc. to sign the Accords GUARANTEEING the future safety of Israel. Remember, many of these countries were originally in favor of the Accords but were leery of signing them due to the regional conflicts which they did not want to be part of. All of them do not want Iran to have a nuclear bomb and have finally accepted the fact the very small country of Israel could be a very strategic ally to them, both economically, scientifically and militarily.

If all this happens and the peace is attained, it will then be up to Russia, Turkey, Iran (what’s left of their country), and other anti-Jewish countries in the Middle east and North Africa to accomplish what Israel’s neighbors could not. This is the long sought goal of the Muslim ideology, but their ignorance of the known results of EVERY war against Israel in modern times has resulted in the defeat of those attacking her. As they attack Israel “…from the north” the Bible clearly states in Ezekiel 38 & 39 the following will occur:

• 5 of every 6 of the invaders will die on the mountains of northern Israel.(Ezek. 39:2)
• Their homelands will also bear the brunt of this unprovoked attempt. (Ezek. 39:9)
• It will take 7 months to bury the dead. (Ezek. 39:12)
• It will take 7 years to burn/destroy their implements of war. (Ezek. 39:9)
• The armies will be decimated in numerous ways, again told us how clearly in the Bible:
  • A great earthquake (Ezek. 38:19-20)
  • Infighting between the invading armies (Ezek. 38:21)
  • Disease (Ezek. 38:22)
  • Rain, hailstones, fire and burning sulphur (Ezek. 38:22)

What is so encouraging and comforting is while the entire world will be watching and NOT coming to the aid of the Jews in Israel, the mere fact little, bitty Israel will totally destroy these massive armies and will show the world God is in control!!

“Thus will I (God) magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, AND THEY SHALL KNOW THAT I AM THE LORD (capitals mine).”

Ezekiel 38:23

How much clearer can it be? God, through His Holy Word, has told us exactly what will happen and given us the very specific details so that when it happens, we will again know His Word is TRUE! As He told us in Amos 3:7, “Surely the sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing His plan to His servants the prophets.” Amos was one of His prophets and told us so we would know His plan. As Believers, it is up to each and everyone of us to share this message with as many as we can, not to scare them but to make them aware of what God told us is Coming. That is why Jesus specifically told us to “…therefore comfort one another with these words.” I am doing what the Lord has led me to do and I hope you take comfort in this message and do likewise.
