Back on Christmas Eve 2017, I first published this YouTube video of Becky Kelley’s song “Where’s the Line to See Jesus?” With the very positive response I received, I republished it last year. It has become one of my most favorite Christmas songs. To date, it has had over 5.1 million views! Becky is the daughter-in-law of a good friend of mine and her father (the one playing piano) wrote the song for her after hearing a young boy ask the question.. In today’s world, it gives us a clear separation of the reason we celebrate Christmas, not as a pagan holiday, but to celebrate the birth as prophesied in the Bible of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
“Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.”
2 Thessalonians 2:1-2
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do, and more importantly, I wish you and your family a very Blessed Christmas. He will be Returning soon and I simply ask you do as we are all told to do by Jesus and that is to “…therefore comfort one another with these words.”
Thank you very much for reminding me of this song, Mike. I’m going to play it for my grandkids. Merry Christmas to you in the truest sense of the Word!
I just listened to this while sitting here at school waiting to take my final exam. What a beautiful song and a wonderful reminder to all!
Beautiful song. Need to hear this song more around the holidays!
