This IS the world we live in today!

“But as the days of Noah were, SO SHALL ALSO (capitals mine) the coming of the Son of man (Jesus) be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark.”

Matthew 24:37-38

In Jesus’s famous Olivet Discourse in Matthew 24 & 25, where a few of His disciples asked Him when the End would come and what would be the signs of the End, He gave them numerous things to be watching for. Some of those things He described would be that people in the world would be the same as they were in the days BEFORE the Flood God inflicted on mankind because of their rampant sin. It pained God so greatly that man had fallen into sin in such a way they were irredeemable, so He decided to wipe them out with the use of the Flood. Why did God decide they were so sinful they would not change?

“And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was ONLY EVIL CONTINUALLY (capitals mine). And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.”

Genesis 6:5-6

Fortunately for mankind, God found Noah to be righteous and had him and his family (his wife, their three sons, and their wives) build an ark that would safely carry them (and also male and female of all animals and all living creatures) through the 40 days and nights of rain that flooded the earth. His judgement was just on a very sinful world!

In the beginning Scripture above Jesus told His disciples that in the End Times man would be JUST LIKE THEY WERE IN THE DAYS OF NOAH. What exactly does that mean? Well, there are numerous examples of what men and women will be like during the days leading up to the End.

“And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgement of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.”

Romans 1:28-32

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”

2 Timothy 3:1-5

“For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the NATURAL (capitals mine) use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving that recompense of their error which was meet.”

Romans 1:26-27

Taking only these three Scriptures I believe we can get a VERY clear picture of what people will be like in these Last Days. To list these in order and eliminate the duplicates, you can see the description Jesus gave His disciples of what our population will look like. Do you see this in mankind today?

  1. “…did not like to retain God in their knowledge,”
  2. “…God gave them over to a reprobate mind,”
  3. “…being filled with all unrighteousness,”
  4. “…fornication,”
  5. “…wickedness,”
  6. “…covetousness,”
  7. “…maliciousness,”
  8. “…full of envy,”
  9. “…murder,”
  10. “…debate deceit,”
  11. “…malignity,”

  13. “…Backbiters,”
  14. “…haters of God,”
  15. “…despiteful,”
  16. “…proud,”
  17. “…boasters,”
  18. “…inventors of evil things,”
  19. “…disobedient to parents,”
  20. “…Without understanding,”
  21. “…covenant breakers,”
  22. “…without natural affection,”
  23. “…implacable,”
  24. “…unmerciful,”
  25. “…For men shall be lovers of their own selves,”
  26. “…blasphemers,”
  27. “…unthankful,”

  40. “…likewise also the men, leaving the NATURAL (capitals mine) use of the woman”
  41. “…burned in their lust one toward another; men with men”

Interestingly, these are attributes which God condemned in the days of Noah and He will condemn once again during the Tribulation. Now don’t get me wrong! As I reviewed these named traits, I saw that I have personally committed some of these during my lifetime. I believe we all have. The difference is that I now recognize these are sins that God will not tolerate and unless I/we repent, we will pay the same price as those who do so willfully without asking for forgiveness. Recognizing this we are also told by God not to judge others for what they do.

“Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgement ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.”

Matthew 7:1-2

One last point. Do you know God placed Noah, his family and the living creatures in the ark 7 DAYS before it started raining? Did you know God’s angels removed Lot and his wife the day before He rained fire and brimstone on Sodom and Gomorrah? Are you aware between when Jesus 100% praised the evangelical works of the church of Philadelphia (not PA) and before the last “church”, the Laodicean church, which He 100% condemned in Revelation 3;14, He said in Revelation 3:10:

Sounds like the Rapture of the Believers BEFORE the Tribulation! While this may sound like a warning, and it is, it also gives extreme comfort to those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, repented of their sins and asked for forgiveness. By knowing this we can deal with the horrible state of mankind today, knowing what Jesus has planned for us is far better than anything we can imagine. That is the reason He also told us to “…therefore comfort one another with these words.” If you agree, please Like and Share this with as many of your friends as possible. The End of Days is fast approaching, and we all have an obligation to tell others the GREAT news Jesus gave to us!

May God Bless you as we await His soon Coming!
