Should we be joking about the Last Days?

“Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: FOR THE TIME IS AT HAND (capitals mine).”

Revelation 1:3

A very good friend of mine recently posted the cartoon above on Facebook and when I saw it, I was immediately reminded of how many people are looking for answers to all the terrible things happening in the world today. They genuinely fear what will happen tomorrow! There are many Christian and non-Christian books available which try to explain the author’s individual beliefs and feelings but there is only ONE book you can actually trust in to give you the absolute Truth of what is coming soon. That is the Holy Bible, written by God Himself for our benefit, peace and hope.

“But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”

Matthew 4:4

It is estimated there are 6.5 billion copies of the Bible in print in the world today. That is by billions more than any other book ever printed. If we can do nothing else about these tumultuous times, we can share with all God’s Word of Grace. He sent Jesus Christ to this world to die as the perfect sacrifice for our sins. If we only accept His Gift of pardon to us, repent of our sins and ask for forgiveness, we will be saved forever to be with Him in Heaven.

“As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.”

Mark 5:36

Tomorrow will only be apocalyptic to those who have rejected Jesus. So, please do as we are all instructed to do by Him and that is to “…therefore comfort one another with these words.”

Personally, if Jesus doesn’t come today, I sure hope it is tomorrow! May God Bless you!

Every person should be confident if there is no tomorrow as we know it.
    God be with us.
