Will today’s global anti-Semitism force Aliyah?

“And I SCATTERED (capitals mine) them among the heathen and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.”

Ezekiel 36:19

Have you ever heard of Aliyah? Aliyah refers to the Jews long-desired return to Israel after having been dispersed to the four corners of the earth BACK to their God Promised land of Israel. This has been a desire of most Jews for the past 2,000 years, i.e., to return to their Promised Land God which gave them through His Abrahamic Covenant. This has been such a part of their religion that in their three-time daily prayers, they seek from God the ability to return to their home of Israel.

Traditionally, for many, many years on Yom Kippur they always pray “Next year in Jerusalem “. If you recall, God put Abraham, the father of the Jews in the Land and told him it would be their land forever! Numerous times however, throughout history the Jews have been dispersed/taken captive and taken out of their land due to their sins and rebellion against God. But God’s Word and Love is absolute and will never change. The land of Israel belongs to the Jews forever!

“When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies’ lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations; Then shall they know that I am the Lord their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and HAVE LEFT NONE OF THEM ANYMORE THERE (capitals mine).”

Ezekiel 39:27

Why is Aliyah important today and what relevance does it have to Biblical prophecy regarding the Last Days? Remarkably, as God said above “…I have gathered them unto their own land (Israel) and have left NONE (capitals mine) of them anymore there (in” their enemies lands”). Here we have from God Himself the Promise that He will leave NO Jews behind but will bring them ALL back to Israel.

“And after many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations; and they shall dwell safely all of them.”

Ezekiel 38:8

The last dispersion of the Jews occurred in 70 A.D. when the Romans defeated the Jews, destroyed their Holy Temple in one day (check out the significance of this on my post at The 9th of Av – History or Prophecy) and dispersed them unto all the countries of the world. This was punishment for their sinful nature and rejection of Jesus Christ as their Messiah. But God is always faithful to His Promise and He said He would bring them back to Israel and they would be fruitful (prosperous) and increase (grow). And He did!

“And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all the countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.”

Jeremiah 23:3-4

This was a concept which most people previously thought absolutely impossible, but it actually happened 76 years ago on May 14, 1948. After declaring their independence, WITH THE APPROVAL of the United Nations, and the immediate support of the United States, they were viciously attacked by many Arab countries whose populations were over 100 times larger than theirs. And, through the Grace of God, they prevailed! Since that time Israel has become a democratic nation in an area still very hostile to them and have grown in stature with major scientific, economic, and technological contributions to the world.

But guess what? While the Jewish population of Israel today is estimated to be approximately 7.2 million (2023), the global population of Jews is calculated to be 15.7 million (2023). This means that just under half of all Jews today DO NOT yet live in Israel! Rather they have taken refuge in countries like the United States (6.3 million); France (440,000); Canada (398,000); and the United Kingdom (312,000). Interestingly, from 2022 to 2023, the Jewish populations in ALL these countries other than Israel has declined while the population of Jews in Israel has increased. Alyiah is happening today!

So, what does Aliyah have to do with Biblical End Times?

We know that God gave the land of Israel to the Jew as their FOREVER home, a Promise that will never be broken.
As punishment for their sinful ways on a number of occasions God has taken them out of the land for varying judgement periods of time ALWAYS to return them according to His Promise.

Against all odds during a period of time (WWII) that saw the global Jewish population decimated by one third, they, through the Grace of God, were still able to return to the land of Israel and declare their national independence in 1948, only 3 years after nearly being destroyed by the Nazis, Russians, Arabs, etc.

Through almost 2,000 years of diaspora, they were still able to maintain a separate and distinguishable culture, religion, and language.

Today Israel is a modern country in a hugely surrounding backward environment. We are also told that in the midst of the coming 7-year Tribulation period, the Jews are told:

“When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation (at the midpoint of 7-year Tribulation), spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place (the then 3rd rebuilt Holy Temple): (whoso readeth, let him understand). Then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains:”

Matthew 24:15-16

In other words, something soon will encourage many Jews to migrate back to their God Promised land of Israel. What could that be? Let me give you a possibility of what MIGHT happen. If the vast majority of the world’s Jews live today in Israel friendly nations, what would cause them to feel comfortable enough leaving their current residences and fulfilling the prophecies given by God?

A distinct possibility is the rising anti-Semitism in those countries (including the USA) where younger citizens through lies and deceit tend to favor the “Palestinians” over the Jews. A “peace agreement” supported by Israel, the Arabs and the Jewish friendly nations of the world AND confirmed by the then revealed anti-christ would definitely entice many more to return! When such an agreement is reached, not only accepting the right of the Jews peacefully to go to the land of Israel BUT also allowing them the ability to rebuild their 3rd Holy Temple ON the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, their 2,000-year-old prayers will finally be answered! They think!

There is much effort and speculation today that such a “peace agreement” is finally near that would allow this to happen! The Jews will finally be recognized as having the rights to Israel; the Palestinians will finally get their own state in what is now referred to as the West Bank (also known in the Bible as Judea); and they will be allowed to rebuild their Holy Temple on the Temple Mount (although, they will not be allowed to touch or destroy the existing Muslim sites on the Mount). Jerusalem’s final “ownership” by the Jews will by proclamation of the initial “peace agreement” be put off and be re-evaluated 7 years later. During this time Jerusalem will be under the auspices of the United Nations! At this time, I believe, the Jews will finally feel secure enough to return to the land God Promised them! What is that called? Aliyah!!!

This then leads to the next question. Is today’s anti-Semitism prophesied in the Bible?

“Now the Lord had said unto Abram (Abraham), Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”

Genesis 12:1-3

The Bible cannot be any clearer! God told Abraham (the father of the Jews) to leave his home and his family and go to a land that God Himself would show him. He Promised him that land would become a GREAT nation, one that would bless the entire world. As I have stated before, it is absolutely amazing while Jews represent only .2% of the population of the world, they have received over 26% of all Noble Peace Prizes ever awarded for their various works. To put this in perspective, Muslim countries represent nearly 25% of the world’s population yet they have only been awarded 7 Nobel Peace Prizes!

All you have to do is look throughout the past, and even recent history, and those (very few) who have blessed the Jews have been Blessed and EVERYONE who has cursed the Jews has been cursed. Why? Because Satan himself knows the Promises of God through the Jews and knows his only hope of escaping ultimately from being punished forever is to somehow disprove those Promises. With evil, satanic influence many people throughout the past 2,000 years have attempted to do Satan’s work and have failed miserably every time!

“All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.”

Matthew 24:8-9

Yes, here Jesus on the Mount of Olives in a direct response to His disciple’s question as to when the end of the world would come, told them they (Jews who at that time were following Jesus) would be hated by all nations because of His name. This tells me there will be a world wide hatred of Jews and Christians in the Last Days. While we hear almost daily reports of global anti-Semitic attacks and desecration of Jewish synagogues and cemeteries, reports on anti-Christian attacks is far less. Of course, there are massive attacks going on all over the world, especially in Communist countries like China and throughout the Muslim world. Unfortunately, the number of incidents are rising dramatically in the United States and in Europe as well. When you consider the United States was founded on Judeo-Christian values, not just Christian values, this has got to cause alarm that our support and “blessing” of Israel appears to be on the wane.

With our current Administration’s apparent support for anti-Israel Iran, Russia, China, etc. it appears the United States could very well be on the verge of being “cursed” by God Himself, exactly as has been prophesied. Perhaps because anti-Semitism has existed for so many years, people have become accustomed to these happenings without realizing Jesus told us directly in the prophesies of the Bible, this would be a sign of the Last Days. But you might ask, what makes today different than any other time period over the past 2,000 years?

“That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.”

Deuteronomy 30:3

Again, in God’s Love and Compassion for His Chosen people, even though they continue to sin against Him and have not yet asked Jesus for forgiveness, He said He will gather them from all the nations where He had scattered them. Yes, this is a prophecy! By bringing all the Jews out of the nations of the world and putting them into their God given land of Israel, He will put them into the land He Promised them. Now you might say, “There are Jews living all over the world so the mere fact they are not in Israel might signal we ARE NOT in the Last Days.”

“And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, AND WILL GATHER THEM ON EVERY SIDE (capitals mine), and bring them into their own land: And will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations (Judea & Samaria), neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all: Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwelling places, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.”

Ezekiel 37:21-23

So, what would it take for the Jews to immigrate from these countries to Israel? Remember, God DID NOT Promise to bring HALF the Jews back. He said He would bring them ALL back to the land He had Promised them.

If Jews are discriminated against here in the US, if they are beaten or their homes or synagogues are destroyed, what would keep them here, especially if God opens the door for them to migrate to Israel? I honestly believe with recent comments by left wing, progressive politicians, even some Jewish politicians who are anti-Israel, at some time in the near future we will see a massive departure of Jews from the US and other countries leaving for their God Promised homeland. While this may satisfy some, remember God said He would curse those who curse them (the Jews). They will not escape God’s prophesied Wrath!

Whatever we do to the Jews, it will be done to us! This could easily be a prequel to the ultimate demise of the United States as a global powerhouse. Afterall, if 650,000 Jews can escape Europe after the Holocaust at the end of WWII, go to Israel and within 3 years after 1/3 of all Jews in the world were murdered by the Germans, then fight a war with countries with a total population of over 100 million after declaring their Independence on May 14, 1948, who could say the departure of 6-7 million Jews from the US would not potentially have grave consequences?

“In hope of eternal life, which God, THAT CANNOT LIE (capitals mine), promised before the world began;”

Titus 1:2

God cannot lie! If anti-Semitism, pro-Iranian and pro-Hamas continues in this country, God will have every right to say, “I told you so!” Unfortunately, in today’s “woke” world with fewer Christians than ever before, there literally is nothing to prevent all this from happening EXCEPT a national evangelical revival and the country repenting of her sins. I agree with you. That probably isn’t going to happen! Afterall, over 2,500 years ago the Bible foretold pro-Hamas, antisemitic rioting throughout the U.S. and the rest of the world.

“For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head. They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones. They have said, COME, AND LET US CUT THEM OFF FROM BEING A NATION; THAT THE NAME OF ISRAEL MAY BE NO MORE IN REMEMBERANCE (capitals mine). For they have consulted together with one consent (agreement): they are confederate (united) against thee.”

Psalm 83:2-5

While we know most of the Muslim world would love to see that “…Israel may be no more in rememberance“, we also are keenly aware of many other anti-Semitic actions by most countries of the world.

My posts are never intended to frighten or scare people. The beauty of studying the Bible and believing it as the Word of God is that He has told us everything which is coming. He didn’t tell us to scare us but rather to believe in His Truth and know when we see all the things prophesied happening, we can take solace in knowing God is in control. As Jesus told John in Revelation 3:10, “Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.” Jesus will come for His Believers at the Rapture BEFORE the hour of temptation (7-year Tribulation) comes to punish all those who have not accepted His Gift of Eternal Salvation to us. All we must do is accept His free gift of pardon for our sins, repent of those sins and we will spend eternity with Him in Heaven.

Please do not ever forget He also told us directly to “…therefore comfort one another with these words.” Don’t scare people. Do not threaten them. Simply, encourage them to read the Bible and find Jesus and accept Him as their Lord and Savior. Please tell others of His wonderful and comforting Message.

Please pay for peace in Jerusalem and be ready. Jesus is coming soon! May God Bless you!
