“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”

Imagine a God, Creator and FATHER of the world, taking it upon Himself to save the world from sin so that if we accept His Gift of forgiveness, we may spend eternity with Him in His presence.

Many, many thanks to Jim Cassidy, a contact of mine on LinkedIn, for allowing me to share a poem he wrote in 2005 on Father’s Day. He wrote this for our Heavenly Father. It is a concise message of what we read and pray for every day. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Where can I lose this shame and this pride?
No place, but by my Father’s side.
Where can I go for truth, and not a lie?
No place, but by my Father’s side.
Where can I gain wisdom and knowledge for each day
That passes by?
No place, but by my Father’s side.
Where will I go when its’ my time to die?
No place, but by my Father’s side.

Remember His GIFT to us today as the day we give thanks to our Heavenly Father who loves us all more than anything we can ever imagine! Happy Father’s Day to all fathers of this world but NEVER forget to give praise and honor to our true Father AND “…therefore comfort one another with these words”!  May God Bless you on HIS Day!
