“I will give to you and your descendants after you, the land of your sojourning’s, all the land of Canaan, FOR AN EVERLASTING POSSESSION (capitals mine); and I will be their God.”
Genesis 17:8
This song, written in 2016, is even more relevant today than it was 7 years ago. It has become one of my favorites, even more so after personally visiting the Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem in 2018 and seeing the absolute atrocities committed by the anti-Jewish people during World War II. Candidly, I am still amazed that less than 3 years after the annihilation of ONE THIRD of all Jews in the world during WWII, a few hundred thousand Jews returned to Israel and held off the armies of over 100 million Arabs who invaded almost immediately after the Jews declared their Independence on May 14, 1948. NOT ONE COUNTRY (including the US) helped them defend their God Promised Land. Not then. Not during the wars of the mid 50’s. Not during the 6-day war of 1967 when the Jews retook the City of Jerusalem which the Jordanians had illegally taken from them in 1948. Not the war of 1973. And yes, even the ongoing Hamas conflict going on today along with many anti-Semites calling for the elimination of the Jews and chanting “from the river to the sea”. Only God will ultimately come to their rescue!
I encourage you to watch it again (I did post it last year). There is no doubt God continues to protect the Jews and their Holy Land and what they have accomplished economically, scientifically, militarily, etc. with only 8 million people is stunning!
Please listen to the true and accurate story. If you get anything out of this, I ask you pass it along to your friends so they can do as we do, and that is to recognize God never lies and His support of His Chosen people should make all Christians thankful. Remember, without the Jews there would be no Christians! Do this by telling others as we were told to do and that is to “…therefore comfort one another with these words.”
May God Bless you! And please continue to pray for the Peace of Jerusalem!
