Luke 2:9-11
During this time of renewed Covid fears, global wars, economic uncertainty, etc. we should always remember Christmas is a time of celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Just as when the men in the field were fearful when the angel appeared to them, we must consider NOT the fear of what we see going on around us but rather rejoice in seeing the absolute fulfillment of what God has Promised “…to all people.” We have a Savior who was born and died on the cross for our sins! To be saved, all we must do is repent of our sins and accept His Gift of Salvation.
As we enter into this Christmas season, I thought it appropriate to repost this music video. It has become one of my favorite-ever Christmas songs! We all go into a mall with our children and/or grandchildren and the line to see Santa is very apparent. But where is the line to see Jesus? Becky Kelley answers that question!
I had the pleasure of meeting Becky a few years ago and she told me about this song, which her father wrote, and it intrigued me as it was Christmas time and my wife Diane, and I enjoyed going to the shopping mall seeing our two granddaughters standing in line and looking forward to getting their picture taken with Santa Claus. When I listened, I was immediately in awe of her singing ability and the incredible message she was giving to us all, especially at this time of the year. Her song has since had well over five million views on YouTube and I am honored to repost it again, as I have done every Christmas since I first heard it.
I sincerely hope you enjoy it as much as I do and please share it with all of your friends and family. It reminds us of what Christmas is all about. It is not only a beautiful song, but it is extremely comforting, and I believe we can all “…therefore comfort one another with these words.” Remember, if you are in a shopping mall this Christmas season, think of the words to her song and look around for “…the line to see Jesus!”
May God Bless you as we await His soon Return!
Thank You Mike! Beautiful reminder and beautiful hope we all have in Jesus the Christ. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
