It’s NEVER too late to celebrate Easter!!

One of the things I have enjoyed writing this blog has been all the new contacts I have made around the world with people like me interested in Biblical End Times prophecies. Their comments and support have been overwhelming and have encouraged me to continue to try to explain as best I can what the Bible says is coming.

One of those contacts, Debbie Brouckaert of Mineola, TX, shared with me a poem she wrote and was read at her church this past Easter. I found it very moving and reminded me we should ALL celebrate Easter EVERY day for Christ’s gift to us. If you enjoy it as much as I did, please share it with your friends, either by forwarding it or on Facebook or LinkedIn. If you wish to make a comment, I will approve it on my blog so she can see what you say.

Enjoy!!

The Easter Story

Down that long road He carried the Cross, His shoulders were bowed, He bore such loss.

They whipped His back and blood ran down, as He pulled the Cross along the ground.

He fell to the ground, for water he did thirst, but the crowd shook their fists, mocked and cursed.

They drove the nails deep in His hands and feet. The demons were saying “our job is complete.”

He hung in agony His life almost through, He cried “Forgive them they know not what they do.”

His followers were there they wept and cried, as a soldier took a spear and pierced Him in the side.

The clouds rolled in and the sun did diminish, He gave up the ghost and said “It is finished.”

The lightning flashed and the thunder did boom, as they laid His body in a borrowed tomb.

The stone was rolled in front of the site, guards were set to watch the grave day and night.

Three days had passed, the oils were poured, then Mary went to the tomb to anoint the Lord.

The stone was moved, the tomb was clean, she thought to herself “what does this mean?”

An angel was there and to Mary he said, “Why seek ye the living among the dead?”

He holds the keys to death, hell and the grave, the chains are loosed to sin no longer a slave.

Go tell His followers their Lord is near, soon to them all He will appear.

Jesus did enter the room where they were, they gazed at His hands “It’s our Lord for sure.”

He said to them “Peace, to my Father I must go, this commandment I leave Let all my people know.”

His Word has been preached through people like us, that Jesus brought Salvation if we just trust.

We must believe in our heart God raised Him from the dead, our sins now forgiven just like He said.

Now take up your cross and live each day, pleasing our Savior in all we do and say.

To live our lives for Jesus we must endeavor, and then with our Lord we shall live forever!

Comforting? Then, do as we are ALL instructed to do and that is to “…therefore, comfort one another with these words.”
