Eight years ago today I posted my very first article Time Line for the Final Days on my brand-new Bible prophecy website comfortoneanother.com. Thankfully, my daughter Michelle, being much more tech savvy than me, was able to help me build the site as it appears today. Upon career retirement at the end of 2016 and having studied Bible prophecy for now 48 years, I knew I wanted to continue to tell others what they might not know about Promises God made to us regarding the coming signs of the End Times and what we should be looking for. My intent has always been to present these prophecies in a non-denominational way and to tell others what the Bible clearly says, the same Bible used by most Christian denominations today. With great humility I also take very seriously what we were warned about in Revelation 22:18-19:

“For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book (the Bible), If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”

With that said, I strongly believe what we have been told in 2 Timothy 2:2-3, “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, WHO SHALL BE ABLE TO TEACH OTHERS ALSO (capitals mine).” I have long believed it is by the Holy Spirit that I have been led to write about many of these prophecies and I give Him all honor and glory for bringing these topics to me in a way which has made it easier and possible for me to share what I have been taught by Him. I also believe by the Holy Spirit enlightening me in such a manner, I have the responsibility to tell others so that through His prophecies, others may come to know the reason God told us beforehand what is coming.

“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.”

Revelation 3:13

Not my words, BUT His WORD! So, what are just a few of the things we have been told will be the Signs of the End Times which those alive will witness coming to fruition during their lifetimes?

• Unprecedented warfare – Mathhew 24:7, Revelation 6:4
• Famine – Matthew 24:7, Revelation 6:5, 6,8
• Pestilences – Luke 21:11
• Increasing lawlessness – Matthew 24:7
• Earthquakes – Matthew 24:7
• Critical times hard to deal with – 2 Timothy 3:1
• Inordinate love of money – 2 Timothy 3:2
• Disobedience to parents – 2 Timothy 3:2
• Lack of natural affection – 2 Timothy 3:3
• Loving pleasures rather than God – 2 Timothy 3:4
• A lack of self-control – 2 Timothy 3:3
• Without love of goodness – 2 Timothy 3:3
• Taking no note of the impending danger – Matthew 24:39
• Ridiculers rejecting proof of the last days – 2 Peter 3:3,4
• Global preaching of God’s Kingdom – Matthew 24:14

Yes, we have always had these present on the earth but NOT all at the same time with the same growing intensity we are now seeing. So many of the other prophecies made (specific wars like the War of Gog and Magog; the scientific ability of a one-mark economic system; the ability of the entire world seeing 2 prophets lying dead in the streets of Jerusalem; the rebirth of the Nation of Israel; etc.) point to all of us that these prophecies are actually happening today. And, in Jesus’s own Words…

“So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, THIS GENERATION (capitals mine) shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.”

Matthew 24:33-35

Interestingly, the word “know” in the first sentence above is the Greek word ginosko, which means “come to know, perceive or feel”. In other words, through study it can be known! Thus, the generation that sees these things will know or perceive the end is at hand

So, what motivated me to specifically write on this 8th anniversary of my blog? I believe it is not up to just our local preachers to teach us what is coming. It is not up to famous books like The Late Great Planet Earth, Left Behind, or Things to Come. It is not up to radio or TV programs we may listen to or watch. It is up to each and every one of us to communicate with others that God does not want us to be fearful of what is coming. He wants us to be aware, not scared! He wants us to share what we know and what we are led by the Holy Spirit to tell others, both believers and non-believers.

“Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace:”

Acts 18:9

I am but one individual who spent my entire career in the electrical industry serving utility, contractor, industrial and commercial customers with their material needs. While doing that I also had an insatiable desire to learn more about what God has told us in the Bible about His prophecies. With deep humility, I wanted to share with you the impact the Holy Spirit has had on my life through comfortoneanother.com.

In order to fully understand the outreach of my blog, I use a software program called Jetpack which gives me current stats on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis about what articles are being read and what countries they are being read in (NOTE: they do not tell me who is reading the articles). The results, again with all glory and honor given to the Holy Spirit, are amazing! In the last 8 years my 386 published articles (a few have been reposted or reposted with permission by the original author) have been read by 22.4 million people in 190 of the 196 countries recognized by the UN. Countries like China, Russia, Iran, India, Turkey, Israel, etc. have regular “hits”!!! This is exactly what God wants us to do!

“Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; “

Romans 12:6

What if every person reading this article were to tell 2 others of the Promise God made to us along with His Gift of Jesus Christ coming to this world to die for our sins IF we only accept that GIFT of pardon? The result would be in less than a month we would fulfill His prophecy. “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; AND THEN SHALL THE END COME.” In order to do this, we only have to do what Jesus specifically told us to do in 1 Thessalonians 4:18:

“…and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.”
